Greetings from Chief of Staff Giraffe and Lieutenant Commander Salamander. Anonymous Hippo is our brand new baby blog. Why are we here? Well, there are a few reasons. We live for fashion. Our walls look like Teen Vogue threw up on them. BUT, Giraffe & Salamander are just teenagers. We simply can't afford a $400 cardigan, even if it is adorable. And we're betting a few of you can't either. And even if we could pool our money to buy what Emma Watson is wearing in this month's Teen Vogue, we don't exactly have tons of photo shoots lined up. Or movie premiers. Or fashion shows. So, let me ask you; where the hell are we supposed to wear that stuff?So what Giraffe & Salamander are doing is showcasing an alternative... affordable, wearable clothing that's still fashionable. All the style of Conde Nast's most fashion forward publications for half (a quarter?) of the price. And we might throw in some of our own personal insight free of charge.
